Human beings are intelligent.

This means they are capable of thought, understanding, and learning. While insects are intelligent, they lack much of the psychological complexities known to humankind. They, for the most part, don’t have emotions or inhibitions. Insect lives are a series of pre-coded programs carried out much like a computer. But who’s to say humans aren’t the same? Is it not possible that every thought or experience wasn’t ours but instead the command of an omnipotent being programming our perceived reality? To perorate, I wonder what an insect would think if it had the same level of intelligence as humans; What it’d make of the world if it could truly perceive it.
